• Collaborate closely with a diverse team including Product Design, Content Design, Partnerships, Product Management, Engineering, Merchandising, Research, and others to define a new business area.
• Lead the way in the global Broadcast television and/or channels sector by working with the team to establish a scalable, long-term user experience vision, while also developing a tactical strategy for an MVP.
• Implement a human-centered design process to define an experience strategy and bring features from concept to launch.
• Innovate to address new business and member needs, while strategically and tactically contributing to the overall IA and design system to ensure delight, flexibility, and scalability.
• Utilize storytelling skills to communicate a vision that fosters a shared understanding of the experience strategy within the company.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to create systematic solutions that align user needs, data, business goals, and business strategy.
• Lead collaborative work sessions with various stakeholders within the company.
• Advocate passionately for members worldwide.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing user experiences for consumer-facing products on mobile, web, and/or TV platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from 0-1 and successfully launch products for global users and business outcomes.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to articulate product vision.
• Experience in connecting various initiatives across the organization and fostering collaboration.
• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and providing clarity to align user, technology, and business goals.
• Excellent communication skills for various audiences and settings.
• Ability to manage complex initiatives with multiple team requirements without losing sight of long-term experience objectives.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on holistic design systems that cater to company-wide needs.
• Recognized for high-quality design work and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in designing for multiple UI platforms, including TV, mobile, and web.
• Mastery of advanced features in Figma such as Autolayout, Components/Variables, DevMode, and Responsive Prototypes.
• Expertise in global Broadcast television, live and/or channels strategies.
• Knowledge of short-form, lower engagement content.
• Experience in designing for local markets.
