• Collaborate with the Karya Learn team to create storyboards and visualize scenes, especially catering to low-literacy or first-time smartphone users.
• Develop prototypes and create various video formats including static + audio, animation, voiceover-driven explainers, reels, social motion graphics, and more.
• Transform scripts, concepts, and brand narratives into captivating video stories and tutorials.
• Utilize tools such as AI image generators, 2D animation platforms (After Effects, Canva Animate, Premiere Pro), and lightweight editors for experimentation.
• Coordinate with content writers, translators, and instructional designers to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with product and learning teams to address real user needs.
• Work alongside design and brand teams to maintain consistency in motion identity, refine collaterals, and uphold brand unity across various platforms.
• Ensure that each video is culturally sensitive, user-friendly, and easily understandable for diverse Indian audiences.
• Manage tasks within strict timelines, balancing efficiency with quality.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, video design, motion graphics, or instructional media.
• Strong understanding of visual composition, pacing, and narrative clarity.
• Proficiency in storyboarding and simplifying complex ideas efficiently.
• Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Canva Animate, and Lottiefiles as well as AI image/video generators such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, etc.
• Curiosity regarding visual learning processes and information absorption.
• Experience in designing for low-literacy, multilingual, or rural audiences is a bonus.
