Art Director

📋 Description

• Work closely with the Creative Director and Narrative Director to establish a unified creative direction for the game

• Collaborate with the Art team to contribute to and maintain the creative vision of the game

• Guide the look of the project with your art team and ensure the quality of their work

• Create a cohesive visual guide based on existing art explorations to unite the team

• Establish milestones for the art team and provide clear direction for project scoping

• Manage relationships with external art contractors and mentor team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Art Director role

• Previous experience as an Art Director for a released title

• Proficiency in game engine implementation

• Demonstrated ability in leading and collaborating with an art team on high-quality game projects

• Track record of providing constructive visual feedback to enhance the work of other artists

• Strong interest in stylized visuals and willingness to explore creative possibilities

• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively

• Familiarity with the competitive gaming industry and Unreal Engine development (preferred)

• Experience with live game development (preferred)
