📋 Description

• Conduct regular one-on-one interviews focused on team performance, growth, and morale.

• Define clear objectives in art, team performance, and quality aligned with project and studio strategy.

• Develop career plans within PCF's PDI and performance system.

• Provide structured feedback on performance to support development with an individual development plan (IDP).

• Lead performance evaluation cycles and adjustment discussions.

• Coach on leadership, delegation, and decision-making.

• Identify team skill gaps and develop targeted development plans.

• Support recruitment: role definition, interviews, skills assessment, and new employee integration.

• Establish succession plans for key positions to mitigate delivery risks.

• Assist the technical art director in meeting planning, action tracking, scheduling, and art reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in creating and delivering at least one AAA game from start to finish.

• Over 7 years of experience in game development on console or PC, including prior leadership role experience.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity in one or more game-related artistic disciplines in various styles.

• General understanding of the entire asset creation process, mastery of each artistic discipline to provide effective feedback.

• Strong 2D and artistic design skills.

• Proficient in Photoshop.

• Excellent knowledge of the latest techniques in 3D modeling.

• Excellent knowledge of industry-standard software for high-resolution modeling and sculpting (Maya, Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, or equivalents).

• Technical mindset and experience setting up assets in game engines.

• Understanding of fundamental principles of artistic theory, including composition principles, design elements, and anatomy.

• Proven ability to balance aesthetics, performance, and user-friendliness.

• Experience managing a team of developers in multiple disciplines.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
