Associate Director, User Experience

📋 Description

• Spearhead the experience strategy for web design within a diverse product ecosystem encompassing various product categories

• Formulate strategic recommendations for Navigation and information taxonomy, conducting User Testing initiatives to guide design decisions effectively

• Manage the design intricacies of websites hosting multiple brands, numerous product SKUs, and catering to diverse target audiences (both B2B and B2C)

• Utilize systems thinking to structure and present complex information architectures in user-centric ways

• Collaborate with extensive cross-functional teams to align design vision with business and technical needs

• Establish design patterns and components to ensure consistency and minimize technical challenges across different brand and product encounters

• Conduct user journeys to analyze customer navigation within intricate product ecosystems

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into strategic design solutions

• Drive design strategy for a significant manufacturer's website and intricate product ecosystem, applying Product Design, Service Design, and UX/UI expertise

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in user experience design, particularly with complex B2B or product-focused websites

• Demonstrated background in Product Design or Service Design with a track record in large-scale, complex digital product development

• Proficient in UX/UI hybrid skills with a portfolio showcasing solutions for intricate information architecture

• Experience in leading small design teams with both individual contribution and leadership capabilities, managing fellow designers and collaborating at a peer level

• Comfortable in client-facing roles, possessing strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Familiarity with designing for e-commerce, product catalogs, or B2B manufacturing environments is a plus

• Able to work autonomously while collaborating with various stakeholders

• Experience in consultancy environments is highly desirable

• Knowledge of content management systems and large-scale web platforms
