• Assist the Director of Project Management in maintaining client relationships, both new and existing.
• Recognize and capitalize on cross-selling possibilities.
• Create and present client proposals.
• Act as the subject-matter expert in civil engineering for data center development projects.
• Supervise civil engineering design activities.
• Lead a team of engineering consultants.
• Monitor project advancement and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Offer technical advice during construction operations.
• Lead a small project management team accountable for planning and executing infrastructure projects.
• Provide oversight at the program level for a range of infrastructure projects.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Display strong technical proficiency in civil engineering design for large-scale projects; experience with data centers is desirable.
• Demonstrate expertise in managing engineering consultants, reviewing technical outputs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Exhibit the ability to efficiently manage client accounts and cultivate solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Have experience leading teams of project managers and technical personnel.
• Understand the complete construction project life cycle, from initial due diligence through design, permitting, and construction.
• Possess business development skills, including recognizing cross-selling opportunities and supporting proposal creation.
• Have excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of local civil engineering standards, permitting procedures, and construction market conditions.
