• Join our dynamic Incubation Lab, a team dedicated to re-imagining human-centered design innovation and rapid concept development at Lilly.
• As a Design leader in our Incubation Lab, you will collaborate with organizational leaders to define significant initiatives and transformative experiences through human-centered design and innovation programs.
• Uphold high standards of quality and creativity throughout the process by actively contributing and mentoring other designers, technologists, and cross-functional teams.
• Your strong advocacy for design and empathy for user needs will enhance our innovation practice and cultivate a culture that encourages unconventional thinking for outstanding customer experiences.
• Provide thought leadership, creative insights, and strategic guidance to continuously enhance our Incubation practice and procedures.
• BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, design, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with over 10 years of design experience
• 10+ years of design experience with at least 5 years of managing and leading design teams in complex settings.
• Ability to establish and nurture collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders and external partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Extensive expertise in design discipline with a proven track record of delivering digital experiences in native and web applications while prioritizing measurable results and business impact.
• Previous experience leading design teams in regulated industries such as healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Familiarity with modern front-end libraries and frameworks, along with contemporary development processes.
