Design Lead

📋 Description

• Implement Velocity Black’s design principles under the guidance of the content director

• Establish an efficient intake process for creative requests within the team

• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to fulfill Velocity Black’s design requirements

• Foster a collaborative environment for the design team to engage with different business units

• Supervise a team of skilled designers to support their growth and development

• Lead design projects and contribute hands-on to the creative process

• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and uphold our brand identity

• Generate innovative ideas and provide art direction aligned with strategic goals and brand image

• Develop presentations to convey concepts and showcase design work

• Coordinate with external agencies on design strategy, production, and creative initiatives

• Manage project briefs, production schedules, and asset delivery

• Oversee a team of designers and optimize their workflow

• Ability to adapt and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Positive 'Yes first' attitude towards challenges

• Proven experience in leadership roles

• Excellent communication skills

• Extensive design background, preferably in Marketing

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Figma
