Design Lead

📋 Description

• Lead project teams in creating UX deliverables, facilitating Think Sessions, and supervising design activities

• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with clients

• Develop strategies for competitive and market research initiatives

• Engage in creative brainstorming sessions with clients and internal teams

• Present ideas, research findings, sketches, and deliverables to clients effectively

• Design solutions incorporating best practices in usability, interaction design, accessibility, and customer service systems

• Create compelling narratives for product owner presentations showcasing new products and features

• Collaborate with client designers, stakeholders, and developers to foster consensus and support

• Generate deliverables from scratch, including sketches, wireframes, workflow diagrams, and user research

• Conduct needs analyses by synthesizing client discussions, system assessments, user data, and market research

• Lead UX research and usability testing sessions

• Oversee team efforts and track progress using tools like Kanban-style boards and ticketing systems

• Stay updated on current best practices, trends, and technologies in user experience design

• Operate within Eastern Standard Time Zone business hours and travel as-needed for client requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven UX design experience

• Experience in leading UX design and research projects and teams

• Strong attention to detail and focus on efficiency

• Ability to drive project work streams and deliverables with minimal oversight

• Skill in communicating design ideas to team members and clients in live presentations

• Exceptional client relationship and consulting skills

• Proficiency in tools supporting UX deliverables like wireframes, prototypes, and data visualization

• Understanding of front-end development and technology

• Familiarity with designing for accessibility

• Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for clients and lead engagements

• Availability to work within Eastern Standard Time Zone business hours
