Design Lead, Web Operations

📋 Description

• Transform overarching project briefs into detailed project tickets that encompass development, SEO, copy, and design requirements

• Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive project tickets and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

• Proactively identify potential obstacles, missing specifications, or project risks before commencing design or development work

• Perform thorough reviews and Quality Assurance (QA) of all design deliverables before final approval or developer handoff

• Ensure strict adherence to ticket requirements, design system and component usage, typography, spacing, and accessibility standards

• Offer clear, constructive feedback to designers to enhance work quality and facilitate rapid iteration

• Manage all web design timelines, priorities, and due dates for the design team

• Conduct daily check-ins with designers to address blockers and ensure continuous progress

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Web Design, Product Design, or Design Operations

• Proficient in Figma with knowledge of design systems, their structure, maintenance, and governance

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from brief to launch, including detailed ticket creation, timeline management, and final QA

• Skilled in balancing design quality with business priorities

• Systematic and process-oriented, enjoys auditing, documenting, and optimizing workflows for team efficiency

• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently

• Confident decision-maker, willing to uphold standards and provide direct feedback

• Able to collaborate with teams during US business hours
