• Lead the coordination of cross-functional processes to align incentives with company strategic and operational objectives.
• Develop pay mix, performance metrics, weights, and mechanisms to encourage desired behaviors based on roles.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing incentive plans and the performance of global Sales resources against targets.
• Provide sales performance updates to executives and handle plan design exception requests from regional sales leaders.
• Supervise the development of cost of sales models and design temporary incentives for short-term priorities.
• Manage the implementation of plans from documentation to deployment with internal and external partners.
• Establish requirements and collaborate with plan administration to configure the incentives management system.
• Communicate program changes and policies to the field and stakeholders while collaborating with Finance on cost analysis and trade-offs.
• Create a scorecard to assess plan effectiveness and monitor sales capacity and incentive compensation costs.
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in incentives design in a consulting or sales operations capacity, particularly in the enterprise software sector.
• Understanding of typical compensation plan structures in enterprise software, including quotas, accelerators, pay mix, and payout curves.
• Familiarity with methods for incentivizing cooperative selling in complex multinational accounts.
• Proficiency in territory management, sales account coverage, sales crediting, and compensation.
• Ability to lead through influence and manage change effectively.
• Strong communication skills, diplomatic approach, and proficient in written and verbal presentations.
• Excellent analytical skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced time and project management skills, capable of meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent worker with guidance, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with ICM/SPMs, preferably Callidus and SAP Commissions.
