📋 Description

• Phantom is transforming the way individuals engage with the crypto ecosystem by offering a self-custodial wallet that supports Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon.

• Lead and expand the design team, providing strategic design guidance across various product areas.

• Oversee, mentor, and grow a team of highly skilled product designers, promoting design excellence, accessibility, and simplicity.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership to shape the product roadmap and user experiences.

• Enhance design systems and operational processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.

• Cultivate a culture of user-centered thinking, rapid iteration, and collaboration across teams.

• Serve as the design representative in company-wide initiatives, executive reviews, and external engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product design.

• Demonstrated experience in building and leading design teams.

• Proven track record of designing and launching high-quality, mobile-first consumer products for a large user base.

• Strong product intuition and strategic thinking, balancing user needs with business objectives.

• Proficiency in using data to inform and validate design decisions, including user research, analytics, and experimentation.

• Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and visual storytelling.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on design involvement as necessary.

• Passion for mentoring and nurturing designers at all levels.

• Background in crypto, crypto-native mindset, or interest in decentralized ecosystems.
