Director of User Experience Design

📋 Description

• Taking the lead in designing, prototyping, and assessing the overall usability and adoptability of Northbeam’s products

• Directly engaging with customers to comprehend their needs and translating them into requirements and designs, collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers and engineers

• Crafting a robust UX/UI vision for the Northbeam platform, advocating for exceptional design and understanding its impact on development

• Generating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to illustrate the functionality of the Northbeam product

• Continuously delivering and improving products that empower Northbeam’s customers to excel in their roles, enabling marketers to extract actionable insights from Northbeam’s extensive data

• Mentoring fellow designers and establishing and nurturing partnerships with brand and marketing teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant product design experience

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field with a background in giving and receiving design feedback

• A professional portfolio showcasing strategic, conceptual, and visually excellent handling of complex, data-heavy interfaces

• Proficiency in industry design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

• Strong strategic mindset, capable of leading from vision to execution and translating large-scale problems into intuitive and polished user experiences

• Extensive UX experience in a B2B environment catering to enterprise customers

• Demonstrated ability to produce UX and UI prototypes for validation and implementation

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities

• Background in marketing, advertising, or eCommerce

• Skill in simplifying complex concepts, data models, and workflows into user-friendly designs and presentations

• Track record of delivering UX and UI prototypes, refining based on feedback, and ensuring seamless implementation

• Experience in designing enterprise-grade products that balance business objectives with customer needs

• Familiarity with game design, storyboarding, participatory design, motion/entertainment-related design, or other relevant methods to drive end-to-end vision
