Head of Design

📋 Description

• Orchestrating collaborative processes to promote active teamwork among team members and enhance workflow efficiency within the design organization;

• Prioritizing UX by collaborating with product leadership to pinpoint validation opportunities and foster cross-departmental cooperation;

• Ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about UX initiatives and advocating for their prioritization;

• Reviewing UX deliverables (research and designs) during milestones and providing constructive feedback to ensure top-notch results;

• Identifying and seizing strategic UX opportunities that extend beyond internal realms and span across the product, showcasing strategic foresight;

• Defining and overseeing performance indicators for the Product Design team, including user satisfaction and design quality metrics, and guiding Next Steps, such as design sprints and research plans;

• Contributing to product direction discussions and remaining engaged in the strategic vision of the product areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possessing 7+ years of product design experience, particularly in web and mobile apps, with a minimum of 3 years managing and leading design and creative teams;

• Demonstrating leadership skills by guiding a team of designers and specialists working on intricate products;

• Establishing an empowering environment for remote design teams that fosters impactful work;

• Proficient in design principles like typography, layout, composition, and color theory, with solid visual awareness and proficiency in design software;

• Crafting high-level strategy and creating design deliverables based on research;

• Exhibiting a passion for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly experiences;

• Possessing excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical teams, convey the impact of designs based on research and data, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
