• Minimum of 8 years of design experience, with a proven track record of shaping comprehensive products from start to finish.
• Prior in-house experience (beyond agency work) with responsibility for entire user journeys, not just individual screens.
• Proficiency in information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and delivering refined, production-ready user interfaces.
• Demonstrated expertise in visual design and exemplary craftsmanship, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards, even at the pixel level.
• Strategic thinker who considers the complete workflow when designing - encompassing user interactions, communications, automations, permissions, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Background in designing intricate, multi-stakeholder systems or operating in regulated environments.
• Capable of independently leading product discovery activities, such as user interviews, validating assumptions, creating prototypes, and conducting usability tests.
• Portfolio demonstrating tangible business impact through design enhancements in operations, clarity, conversion rates, or user experience.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulousness, particularly in relation to financial or data-driven products.
