Lead Design Specialist – Plant Arrangement

📋 Description

• Lead and provide technical guidance on the optimal layout and arrangement of Mechanical Plant Systems and Components within the Turbine Island (TI) and Balance of Plant (BOP)

• Assess plant layout equipment and components to ensure easy accessibility for maintenance and inspection

• Conduct thorough plant layout reviews to guarantee compliance with design requirements for HVAC and Fire Protection

• Assist potential new NPP customers with Power Block Plot Plan

• Collaborate with Plant and System Design teams to incorporate design requirements into the Plant Layout and 3D BIM Model

• Review Plant and System Level design documents to ensure accurate implementation of design criteria and requirements in the 3D Model

• Develop and implement technical initiatives and processes to populate the 3D Model with preliminary design information

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or a related field OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and drafting within heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry, or similar sectors

• 6 years of experience utilizing design tools like Autodesk (Inventor / AutoCAD / Vault) or equivalent CAD software
