• Lead and provide technical guidance on the optimized layout and arrangement of Mechanical Plant Systems and Components within the Turbine Island (TI) and Balance of Plant (BOP)
• Evaluate plant layout equipment and components to ensure adequate accessibility for maintenance and inspection, including allocation of pull out and lay down space
• Conduct systematic plant layout reviews to ensure compliance with design requirements for HVAC and Fire Protection
• Assist potential new NPP customers with Power Block Plot Plan, including layout of interconnections with Switchyard, Service Water, and Closed Cooling Water Systems
• Collaborate with Plant and System Design teams to incorporate design requirements into the Plant Layout and 3D BIM Model
• Review Plant and System Level design documents
• Possess an Associates degree in engineering, designing, or a closely related field OR have 10+ years of experience in designing and drafting within heavy industrial, thermal power, or nuclear industry or similar sectors
• Demonstrate at least 6 years of experience using design tools like Autodesk (Inventor / AutoCAD / Vault) or equivalent CAD software
