Lead Design Specialist – Plant Layout, Program Integration

📋 Description

• Lead and provide technical guidance on the optimized layout and arrangement of Mechanical Plant Systems and Components within the Turbine Island (TI) and Balance of Plant (BOP)

• Evaluate plant layout equipment and components for proper accessibility for maintenance and inspection

• Assist potential new NPP customers with Power Block Plot Plan

• Collaborate with Plant and System Design teams to incorporate design requirements into the Plant Layout and 3D BIM Model

• Review Plant and System Level design documents to ensure proper implementation of design criteria and requirements in the 3D Model

• Plan, develop, and implement technical initiatives and processes to populate the 3D Model

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an Associate’s degree in engineering, design, or a closely related field OR have 8+ years of experience in designing and drafting in heavy industrial, thermal power, or nuclear industries

• Have 6 years of experience using design tools like Autodesk (Inventor / AutoCAD / Vault) or equivalent CAD software
