📋 Description

• Lead and manage the environment art team to achieve project goals and support team member growth.

• Maintain artistic and technical consistency in all environmental assets created by the team.

• Efficiently design playable levels reflecting the Art Director's vision and level design requirements.

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and effective management principles for quality outcomes.

• Collaborate with production and level design teams to plan development schedules and assign tasks.

• Ensure artistic consistency and technical requirements are met for all art assets.

• Provide daily feedback and creative problem-solving solutions.

• Work with Technical Artists to establish efficient workflows for the environment team.

• Conduct bug fixes and document R&D case studies.

• Create world geometry and composition for levels using Unreal Engine.

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and lead recruiting initiatives.

• Ensure smooth onboarding for new employees.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in creating environment assets using latest techniques.

• Credited as an environment artist in at least one published AAA title.

• Passion for mentoring and training in modern leadership techniques.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software packages for 3D modeling and texture painting.

• Experience with Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, and high-quality creative aesthetics.

• Strong understanding of color theory, PBR lighting fundamentals, and material creation.

• Ability to adapt to specific art styles and balance artistic quality with performance.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a team player mentality.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and passion for video games and game development.
