Lead Product Designer

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the founder and engineering team to transform intricate security concepts into user-friendly experiences

• Take charge of developing and enhancing our Figma system, from initial concepts to detailed interaction prototypes for implementation

• Innovate creative visual representations for cybersecurity data and connections, moving beyond standard dashboards to investigative and narrative interfaces

• Engage in early product conversations to shape project scope, priorities, and technical viability

• Work with users to validate assumptions, gather insights, and continuously enhance usability and engagement

• Establish and document visual design standards and language for product, marketing, and internal tools

• Manage a budget for design freelancers, oversee and quality check minor design tasks (e.g. marketing materials, one-time design projects, etc.)

• Implement and maintain a scalable design process that adapts as the team expands

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in designing digital products, particularly complex or data-driven SaaS platforms

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variants, interactive prototypes, and design systems

• Demonstrated expertise in UX, covering information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility

• Background in technical products such as developer tools, cybersecurity, analytics, or related fields is advantageous

• Ability to approach data and workflows structurally, prioritizing clarity over embellishment in design

• Strong communication and documentation skills, with a preference for asynchronous collaboration

• Curiosity and adaptability, thriving in uncertainty, rapidly prototyping, and incorporating feedback from users
