• Take charge of designing the strategy and implementing it for the Operate pillar in various complex, multi-quarter projects covering task management, compliance workflows, and operational communication.

• Develop sophisticated and user-friendly solutions for multi-step workflows, introducing new patterns and interaction paradigms when necessary.

• Play a key role in the design system strategy and evolution, identifying opportunities for new reusable platform patterns.

• Consistently deliver polished work by creating interfaces that simplify complexity without losing depth.

• Adjust prototype fidelity as needed, using prototypes not only for hand-offs but also to inspire, validate, and align with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define design strategy, shaping problem definition and approach rather than just focusing on execution.

• Identify new problems and opportunities for the team to address and set success metrics for major initiatives.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand user motivations and business objectives.

• Advocate for the user perspective within the product area and influence cross-team priorities based on research and insights.

• Bring design thinking to roadmap discussions and assist the team in making informed tradeoff decisions.

• Foster agreement on design decisions across various teams and stakeholders, particularly in ambiguous or high-stakes situations.

• Lead design critiques that offer high-quality, actionable feedback and enhance the team's craftsmanship.

• Mentor and guide senior designers to help them enhance their skills and navigate complex challenges.

• Articulate design vision and rationale convincingly to leadership, enabling productive discussions that enhance design credibility throughout the organization.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering on technical feasibility and implementation strategy, identifying design opportunities that drive business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 7+ years of product design experience, demonstrating ownership of significant product areas and successful delivery of complex, high-impact features over multiple quarters.

• Showcase a portfolio highlighting expertise in interaction and visual design, systems thinking, and simplifying genuinely complex problem areas.

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional agile teams and influencing product strategy and roadmap priorities alongside Product and Engineering partners.

• Proficiency in designing AI feature sets and integrating AI-powered capabilities into product experiences.

• Deep understanding of user research—both qualitative and quantitative—and the ability to translate findings into clear design direction that influences the wider team.

• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts convincingly to leadership and fostering alignment during challenging conversations.

• Proven ability to mentor senior designers and lead design critiques that enhance team output.

• Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping tools at an advanced level.

• Comfortable working in evolving or undefined problem spaces, bringing structure without waiting for clarity.

• Bonus points for experience in compliance or audit workflows, operational or enterprise product design, or AI-powered conversational interfaces.
