Lead UX Designer

📋 Description

• Lead the User Experience Designer team in developing data-driven, user-centric solutions throughout the entire UX process (research, strategy, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, usability testing)

• Develop experience strategies based on research, business goals, and user needs

• Conduct discovery activities like workshops, stakeholder interviews, user research, audits, and competitive reviews

• Create various UX deliverables such as personas, journeys, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes

• Organize and execute user testing methods (usability testing, card sorting, content testing, preference testing)

• Advocate for and apply accessibility best practices

• Communicate design solutions, reasoning, and research results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; establish strong client relationships

• Mentor and support junior and mid-level UX designers; provide feedback and encourage design excellence

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to ensure smooth implementation and delivery

• Assist in business development by engaging in client presentations, creating proposals, and showcasing UX capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a BS/BA or Advanced Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Library Science, Graphic Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, or have equivalent work experience

• Possess 5-8 years of UX professional experience (minimum 5 years)

• Must have at least 2 years of experience at a digital-first agency or consultancy

• Strong background in human factors, information architecture, and user-centered design methodologies

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and client presentations

• Proficient in responsive and mobile design, design systems, and accessibility best practices

• Skilled in Figma, Usability Testing Tools (e.g., Userlytics, Optimal Workshop), and Microsoft Office

• Impressive portfolio showcasing research, strategy, wireframes, information architecture, and user flows

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities

• Excellent communication skills with various levels of leadership, management, and staff
