• Simplify complex concepts to create user-friendly experiences for Wikimedia projects.

• Develop prototypes and conduct experiments to test hypotheses iteratively.

• Utilize and enhance design systems and guidelines to implement new features from concept to reality.

• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to devise product strategies and maintain design processes.

• Translate intricate ideas into easily understandable points for reader and community engagement.

• Work closely with product and design leaders to enhance operational processes.

• Mentor team members to facilitate their growth within the organization.

• Experience in mentoring designers and receiving constructive feedback.

• Proficient in evaluative and generative research methods to understand audience behaviors deeply.

• Strong creative vision with the flexibility to transition from ideation to execution efficiently.

• Skilled in prototyping to bring ideas to life effectively.

• Enjoys sharing work and ideas with the design community globally.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in design team contributions.

• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
