• Effectively lead the team, offering design guidance and elevating the quality of their work

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to define requirements and successfully implement them
• Work with Design and HashiCorp leadership to establish vision and strategy for key design goals
• Contribute to the development of our design team and design culture at HashiCorp
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team of designers
• Proven track record of managing a remote distributed team of substantial size
• Strong interest in expanding design capabilities within an organization and recruiting skilled designers
• Leadership style focused on leading by example, leveraging design expertise, and problem-solving in a complex environment
• Experience in designing enterprise SaaS products
• Exceptional communication abilities for effective collaboration across the organization and building strong relationships with peers and leaders
• Skilled in guiding teams through uncertainty, strategic planning, and successful delivery
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, ego-free, and cross-functional team setting
• Commitment to promoting a positive and healthy work-life balance
