• The Medical Art Director collaborates closely with clients to establish the visual style for 2D/3D animations.

• Overseeing a team of animators, the director ensures successful project completion from inception to delivery.

• Coordinating with leaders across various departments, the director ensures the seamless execution of multidisciplinary strategies.

• Conducting thorough scientific research, collaborating with medical writers and storyboard artists to create a compelling and educational narrative that surpasses client objectives.

• Executing intricate 2D and 3D scenes with precision.

• Driving continuous enhancement within the animation department by refining processes, toolsets, and research and development initiatives to maintain a leading-edge position.

• Providing innovative solutions for pitches and proposals, offering estimates to support business development endeavors.

• Introducing new tools to enhance operations.

• Ensuring a refined and polished final product.

• Maintaining regular communication with clients throughout each project's life cycle to meet project expectations.

• Collaborating with external vendors and contractors for additional support during peak project volumes.

• Assisting in the creation of project estimates.

• Offering insightful critiques and constructive feedback as needed.

• Mentoring a small team of animators to foster their professional growth and success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a Science degree; ideally a graduate of a Biomedical Communications program.

• Proficiency in working efficiently within a fast-paced production environment (preferably with 10+ years of experience).

• Advanced proficiency in 3D animation software such as Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, or Maxon Cinema 4D.

• Proficiency in other software packages like ZBrush, Substance Designer, Unity, Character Creator, etc.

• Excellent skills in Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, etc.

• Comprehensive expertise in all facets of 2D animation production (preferably with 10+ years of experience).

• Experience in storyboard development.

• Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching a small team.
