Principal Mobile Product Designer

📋 Description

• Take the lead in transforming the visual design of our mobile applications, creating mobile-first experiences for complex enterprise workflows

• Drive the development of our mobile design system, ensuring seamless patterns across iOS and Android platforms

• Advocate for innovative visual design strategies that enhance our product's aesthetic appeal while retaining enterprise functionality

• Develop detailed design specifications, high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups for mobile interfaces

• Collaborate closely with native mobile development teams to ensure precise implementation

• Provide mentorship and guidance on mobile-specific design principles to other designers

• Collaborate with Product leadership to establish mobile product strategy and user experience vision

• Conduct design reviews and set design quality standards for mobile products

• Work in partnership with product and engineering teams to infuse modern design concepts into complex enterprise workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mobile product design, proficient in iOS and Android platforms

• Demonstrated visual design expertise with a portfolio showcasing contemporary mobile app transformations

• Thorough knowledge of mobile design patterns, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Material Design principles

• Proven track record in redesigning large, intricate mobile applications with diverse user flows

• Strong proficiency in mobile-specific interaction design, including gestures, animations, and transitions

• Experience leading design projects that enhance mobile user experience significantly

• Skill in using mobile prototyping tools and understanding technical constraints for native development

• History of mentoring designers and raising mobile design standards

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Preferably located on the West coast
