• Product Designers at Pearson work closely with collaborative product teams, each playing a crucial role in the team's achievements.
• Principal Visual Designers are viewed as experts who elevate the visual design standards across the product range, lead efficient design delivery from a small UX/UI team, and promote best practices in interaction, visual, and conversational design.
• Possess at least 8 years of relevant and demonstrable experience in Interaction/UI Design as an individual contributor.
• Demonstrate a track record of driving innovation or growth initiatives that deliver complex product suites for B2C or B2B companies (previous experience in ed tech is not mandatory).
• Specialize in creating meticulously crafted and intelligent UIs, developing visionary prototypes related to emerging technologies (e.g., voice, VR, AR, AI), and establishing scalable design systems (knowledge of AI is not obligatory).
• Proficient in conducting user research, leading workshops, and establishing prioritization frameworks.
• Skilled in collaborating with product, data, and engineering partners, utilizing an agile product delivery approach.
• Proven impact in developing UX/UI toolkits and standards, and advocating for best practices to enhance product delivery efficiency and governance.
