📋 Description

• Drive the structuring and organization of content and functionality by assessing the convergence of business needs, customer needs, and technical opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and data science teams to outline, validate, and construct effective information flows.

• Create and present compelling materials like site maps, wireframes, taxonomies, task flows, and conceptual diagrams to convey current states and proposed solutions for strategic alignment and innovation.

• Conduct customer research activities and quantitative A/B testing to shape and refine information architecture.

• Perform user testing to validate structural choices and gather insights for improvement.

• Collaborate with designers and information architects within the organization and industry to exchange best practices, foster cooperation, and steer innovative approaches in information architecture.

• Organize and lead design-thinking sessions focused on structuring information to overcome organizational barriers and address complex challenges collectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in information architecture and user experience design

• At least 4 years of experience in structuring e-commerce/transactional experiences

• Demonstrated proficiency in top-of-funnel website design, driving conversion, and conducting large-scale hypothesis testing related to information architecture

• Track record of leading cross-functional teams in defining and analyzing problems, understanding user workflows, and creating prototypes and structures that address customer issues

• Proficiency in visualizing and prototyping information architectures at different levels of fidelity, from high-level site maps to detailed technical documents

• Ability to present architectures and design rationales to diverse audiences, including software development, QA, learning content development, marketing, and sales teams

• Current knowledge of best practices for information architecture and human-centered design

• Experience with various customer research methods, such as interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, etc.

• Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to simplify complex concepts and large datasets into clear, actionable insights.
