Product Design Director

📋 Description

• Lead the design strategy and oversee implementation across various platforms to ensure alignment with business objectives and user requirements

• Develop engaging user experiences on web, app, extension, and social platforms with a focus on consistency and user satisfaction

• Supervise and mentor a diverse design team working on product and brand initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop user-centric solutions and prioritize impactful opportunities

• Translate insights, business objectives, and brand values into design choices that drive tangible results

• Create intuitive and elegant design solutions to address complex challenges in discovery, live shopping, and post-purchase stages

• Design experiences that enhance engagement, influence user behavior, and foster product loyalty

• Ensure design aligns with brand and product strategies while fostering innovation and customer loyalty

• Advocate for inclusive, accessible, and data-driven design practices within the organization

• Promote and enhance the design system to boost efficiency and quality on a larger scale

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of design experience, including at least 3 years in managing and mentoring design teams

• Extensive expertise in product and visual design disciplines

• Track record of successfully leading design projects across multiple platforms

• Strong systems thinking skills with a focus on operational excellence

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively

• Proficiency in connecting design decisions with user needs, product objectives, and business metrics

• Experience in nurturing a design culture, feedback practices, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and collaboration

• Proficient in Figma, prototyping tools, and user research/testing platforms

• Advocate for user-centric design, accessibility, and data-informed decision-making

• Ability to adapt quickly and handle feedback effectively
