• Lead a high-performing team of Product Designers by providing coaching, mentoring, and support to help them excel in their work and enhance their skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the product strategy, ensuring that customer insights and design vision are at the core of our development process.
• Drive design excellence through leading critiques, reviews, and feedback sessions to elevate the quality of our deliverables.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to align on priorities, balance speed and quality, and foster seamless collaboration from ideation to launch.
• Establish and enhance design practices within teams, optimizing processes, leveraging systems, and promoting efficiency.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and learning, encouraging your team to experiment, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of their work.
• Utilize customer insights and data to make informed decisions, validate impact, and guide iterative design improvements.
• Recruit and onboard talented and diverse design professionals to further enhance the team's capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design teams that produce user-centered, high-quality products.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Portfolio showcasing team impact, highlighting your ability to develop individuals and enhance project outcomes.
• Proven track record of influencing product direction and aligning design decisions with business objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively translate design concepts into actionable plans across various teams.
