• The Regional Design Director is responsible for overseeing and leading creative and innovative excellence in a specific geographic area within the company.
• Accountability for design excellence and overall design quality across the region.
• Sharing responsibilities with senior design leaders to develop innovative design concepts that integrate clients’ culture, goals, and aspirations with societal needs.
• Nurturing a community of designers in the region.
• Serving as the leading regional advocate for the firm’s design vision to be a top-tier impact-driven solutions design company globally.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of related experience in design leadership roles or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years’ experience leading others in a design studio or practice segment required.
• Current US Architectural Registration preferred.
• Additional accreditation and/or training relevant to this role preferred, including LEED certification.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing significant built and unbuilt projects.
• Strong oral presentation and storytelling skills required.
• Ability to understand and implement business strategy.
• Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated through authentic and respectful communication.
• Travel required.
