• As the Regional Design Director, you will lead and oversee creative excellence in a specific geographic area within our company.
• You will be responsible for managing a team of 150 - 300 individuals across various local offices, ensuring design quality and excellence.
• This role involves engaging with senior design leaders, conducting regional design-standard reviews, and promoting projects through various media outlets.
• Your focus will be on winning design awards, fostering a community of designers, and upholding a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Additionally, you will collaborate with the Executive Director of Design in recruiting and retaining senior design leaders.
• Your influence will be key in translating our Living-Centered Design ethos in our client work.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture required.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in design leadership roles or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams in a design studio or practice segment.
• Current US Architectural Registration preferred.
• Additional accreditation such as LEED is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.
• Travel will be required for this position.
