Senior Character Artist – Heads

📋 Description

• As part of this role, you will be tasked with creating character art assets, including models, textures, and integrating them into the game engine, following the quality standards set by Lead Artists and Art Directors.

• You will provide guidance, training, and support to fellow artists to enhance workflows and content production.

• A key focus of this position involves crafting realistic character heads using photogrammetry and photometric data at a superior level of quality.

• Collaborating with Art Directors and Lead Artists, you will help define and maintain the art direction for the game, offering constructive feedback when necessary.

• Supporting both internal and external resources, you will organize tasks for the team, experiment with new techniques to enhance efficiency and visual fidelity, and contribute to performance targets.

• You will also assist in creating documentation using Confluence or similar tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Maya

• Knowledge of Houdini is an added advantage

• Experience with Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer, and Photoshop

• Strong grasp of PBR material pipelines

• Familiarity with source control tools like Perforce

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite

• Solid foundation in working with concept art and human/animal anatomy

• Skilled in organic modeling, hair creation, and painting

• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with a team
