Senior Design Manager, AI

📋 Description

• Work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven features and core AI capabilities

• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI-powered features into their products effectively

• Take the lead on multiple AI design projects, ensuring alignment with customer value delivery

• Effectively communicate design concepts to diverse audiences within the organization

• Define success metrics to measure the impact of design solutions on customer value

• Identify opportunities to improve products and enhance AI experiences at Atlassian

• Engage with a talented and collaborative team of Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and more to prioritize user experience and deliver high-quality work

⛳️ Requirements

• Over five years of experience in Design Leadership roles

• Ability to autonomously plan and drive design direction as both a hands-on designer and a manager

• Proficiency in one or more Design disciplines to lead with expertise

• Track record of effectively working with scaled systems and various design methods

• Comfort with learning and adapting in rapidly evolving fields like AI

• Understanding of the technical aspects of software products

• History of positive collaboration with departments such as Engineering, Product Management, and Research

• Demonstrated ability to influence internal partners, including senior leadership
