• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Content, Data, Design, and other teams to influence the direction of our products, starting with Assessments and District platforms.
• Lead a design team of 5-10 members to drive end-to-end product research and design solutions, from IA and journey maps to wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, clickable prototypes, and more.
• Transition between strategic planning and hands-on execution across a diverse product landscape, ensuring coherence in all team outputs.
• Develop a deep understanding of our customers and products to inspire a similar level of knowledge in others.
• Establish high standards for delivering impactful, quality products based on a thorough grasp of business and customer requirements.
• Mentor and guide team members at various levels in user experience research and product design, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to design best practices for organizational growth, including career progression, design critique, lean research, and more.
• Facilitate communication with cross-functional peers and leaders to ensure alignment at all levels.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 6 years as an individual contributor on an in-house product design team and 4 years as a manager of product/UX designers.
• Proficiency in design methodologies and strategies, covering service design, software product design, user research, and modern UI design.
• Track record of enhancing the design process and building strong cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to handle both ambiguous, large-scale challenges and well-defined projects effectively.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments with regular interactions with Senior Leadership.
• Familiarity with the needs and roles in K-12 school districts in the U.S.
