Senior Manager, Product Design

📋 Description

• Take ownership of designing a key product surface.

• Dive into creating flows, prototypes, and product narratives.

• Provide clarity in ambiguous situations to help teams make confident decisions.

• Mentor designers to develop strong judgment and autonomy.

• Facilitate design rituals effectively: feedback, critique, planning, retrospectives.

• Establish and uphold quality standards to define excellence in design.

• Cultivate strong partnerships with Product Management and Engineering leaders.

• Tie design efforts to business goals such as activation, adoption, and renewal.

• Elevate the visibility and importance of design through compelling storytelling and successes.

• Promote psychological safety and offer constructive feedback.

• Demonstrate curiosity, humility, and a strong sense of accountability.

• Contribute to building a healthy design organization in collaboration with Strategic Design & Research peers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in product design, including 2 years leading design teams.

• Proven track record of delivering complex product systems or enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Strong aesthetic sense and the ability to articulate what makes design compelling.

• Maintain a calm demeanor, prioritize action over theatrics, and exhibit humility.

• Skilled in transforming ambiguity into clarity and driving momentum.
