• We are seeking a Senior Product Design Manager to lead our team of product designers, currently consisting of 4 members. In this role, you will establish processes, provide coaching, and ensure alignment in design direction.
• During the initial period, you will familiarize yourself with the product, customers, and the design team. You will assess the current state and become acquainted with the design system.
• Over the next few months, you will assume full responsibility for the design team, introduce enhancements, build a relationship with the Head of Product, and engage in hands-on design tasks.
• As you progress within the first year, you will expand the design team, elevate design as a strategic partner, and address any challenges that may arise. You will also contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, establish a vision for design growth, and earn respect from colleagues across Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market.

• You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a design manager and at least 8 years of experience in designing web and/or mobile applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and enhancing design team practices and processes is essential. You must have a clear understanding of quality standards and effective strategies for achieving them.
• Proven success in recruiting, nurturing, and managing the performance of (senior) product designers is required.
• As a natural leader, you should enjoy team building and be willing to engage in IC design work when necessary.
• Ability to advocate for design by deeply understanding customer needs and how to address them is crucial.
• Experience working with technical products or the technical aspects of product development is preferred.
• Value speed, iteration, and collaboration over perfection from the outset.
• Strong written communication skills are essential for maintaining collaboration in asynchronous and remote work settings.
• Possess an ownership mentality, taking initiative to fix any identified issues promptly.
