Senior UX Design Manager

📋 Description

• Lead multiple design teams at FCSD Tech by setting the UX direction

• Deliver top-notch user-experience solutions to achieve business objectives and enhance customer outcomes

• Conceptualize new product ideas based on user behavior insights

• Collaborate with various stakeholders including product management and engineering

• Recruit, supervise, and mentor UX managers and designers

• Promote user-centered design principles across a range of products

• Coach designers within cross-functional product teams

• Establish and improve team processes, standards, and culture to facilitate design work and collaboration

• Develop design leaders through mentorship

• Contribute to the discovery and problem framing of new software products

• Ensure uniformity, usability, and accessibility in product designs

• Integrate design into the software delivery lifecycle

• Define and execute strategic programs through cross-functional collaboration

• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility

• Assist teams in the concept, prototype, testing, launch, and iteration of products

• Utilize data-driven design practices and collaborate with analytics to measure results

• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, identify risks early, and propose solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/Interaction/Product Designer/Visual Design or related field or equivalent experience

• Over 8 years of digital and/or software design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing leadership in creating exceptional customer experiences

• More than 3 years of experience leading and coaching UX designers

• Extensive experience in building and managing design teams

• Master’s degree is preferred

• Experience in conducting discovery and user validation interviews is a plus

• Proficiency in crafting high profile consumer websites and apps is desirable

• Expertise in visual design demonstrated through end-to-end product design ownership is preferred

• Ability to create interactive experiences using prototyping software or by hand is advantageous

• Understanding of modern front-end technologies and frameworks is a bonus

• Passion for the automotive industry is a positive attribute

• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and context switching skills

• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, and other prototyping software

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
