• hatch I.T. is collaborating with REEA Global to seek out a talented UI/UX Design Lead.
• REEA Global is in search of an experienced UI/UX Design Lead to take charge of their global design initiatives, leading with hands-on design work and strategic insights.
• You will work closely with a diverse team of designers in Romania, engineers in Uruguay, and product and technology leaders based in the U.S., while also engaging directly with clients across various time zones.
• This role requires a combination of hands-on design work and leadership responsibilities.
• You will oversee the entire design process for web and mobile interfaces, from initial discovery and aligning with stakeholders to delivering polished UI designs.
• Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping internal design systems, setting UX standards, and acting as the liaison between design, development, and product strategy teams.
• REEA Global specializes in custom software and AI development services for mid-market companies owned by private equity (PE) firms.
• Their expertise spans various industries and investment stages, ranging from newly acquired platforms to established portfolio companies gearing up for exit strategies.
• They are renowned for delivering impactful solutions in challenging environments, including AI applications, workflow automation, system modernization, post-merger integrations, data visualization, and UX enhancements.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma, and familiarity with other wireframing and prototyping software.
• Thorough knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508) and experience implementing them throughout the design process.
• Experience in collaborating with developers during the design-to-development handoff phase.
