User Experience Design Manager

📋 Description

• Take the lead in designing products for high school coaches, athletes, and teams

• Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable insights for product strategy

• Manage and develop a small team of designers, providing mentorship on various skills

• Create and communicate engaging visual and verbal concepts

• Collaborate with various teams to define requirements and deliver exceptional experiences

• Advocate for design excellence and accessibility throughout the design process

• Guide projects to completion and evaluate results against design and product requirements

• Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills

• Experience in managing a design team and providing mentorship

• Proficiency in prototyping tools and problem-solving skills for complex design challenges

• Strong organizational skills and technical proficiency in design software

• Portfolio showcasing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs

• Nice-to-have: Research and insights experience, sports industry understanding, growth mindset

• Preferred location: near Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska, or remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, or Phoenix
