• In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Design and serve as the UX/UI Design Manager for the team.
• You will be responsible for delivering expert-level product design solutions and mentoring the next generation of designers to help them advance in their careers.
• Managing your time effectively is crucial to ensure the success of both your product teams and reports.
• Lead UX/UI designer for one or more product teams, delivering complex design solutions from conception to launch.
• Conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and maintain design systems for consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and implement design solutions.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops, mentor other designers, and contribute to the overall design strategy for the organization.
• Manage performance feedback, evaluations, and career development for your reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HCI, graphic design, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Designer role.
• 0-2+ years of experience managing people in a product delivery environment.
• Mastery of Figma, XD, Sketch, or other UX/UI design tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating projects adhering to UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience in designing responsive interfaces and knowledge of CSS media queries, Grid, and Flexbox.
• Attention to detail, project management skills, and knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with GitHub, React.js, and client-side APIs is a plus.
• Experience in data-heavy enterprise platforms and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• This role offers flexibility for management to assign duties and responsibilities based on organizational goals.
