UX/UI Manager

📋 Description

• Lead consumer research to understand customer needs and translate insights into UX strategies and business requirements for cotopaxi.com.

• Create high-quality UX/UI designs that prioritize visual excellence, usability, and performance, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and experience vision concepts.

• Develop and maintain Cotopaxi’s UX/UI design system and component library for consistent, scalable, and efficient digital experiences.

• Design UI mockups and interactive prototypes to convey functionality, interaction patterns, and user intent.

• Drive web testing and personalization strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience and boost conversion rates.

• Establish UI standards for typography, color, imagery, and interaction patterns to maintain brand consistency.

• Collaborate with Creative and Site Merchandising teams to shape a cohesive content strategy that supports storytelling and commerce goals.

• Apply UX research methodologies to enhance the overall customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in UX/UI Design, Interactive Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4+ years of hands-on UX/UI design experience.

• 2+ years of A/B and multivariate testing experience.

• Previous experience in direct-to-consumer eCommerce environment preferred.

• Proficiency in designing UX/UI for web and mobile digital experiences.

• Strong ability to prioritize design work and meet clear goals.

• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles.

• Skilled in producing design deliverables using tools like Figma.

• Experience with website testing and personalization platforms.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Comfortable using analytics and reporting tools to inform design decisions.

• Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms is a plus.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
