Director of Product Design

📋 Description

• Establishing the design vision, strategy, and operational model for fostering collaboration within the organization.

• Guiding and mentoring the design team to enhance skills, processes, and interdisciplinary cooperation.

• Promoting excellence in Discovery and Delivery throughout research, ideation, prototyping, and implementation.

• Serving as a catalyst for change by enhancing procedures, advancing design maturity, and enabling better results.

• Actively participating in key design projects: creating concepts, prototypes, workflows, and conducting design evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in Product/UI/UX Design.

• At least 4 years in leadership roles within design (Lead, Manager, Director, or equivalent).

• Strong proficiency in Discovery and Delivery, with a proven track record of enhancing product outcomes.

• Ability to recruit, mentor, and coach designers at various levels of seniority.

• Comfortable leading organizational or procedural transformations to shape the design process.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership.

• Willingness to engage in hands-on design work when beneficial.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
