📋 Description

• Lead the vision and strategy for platform design in collaboration with Product and Engineering leaders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Supervise and guide a team of product designers, offering regular feedback, fostering career growth, and promoting a focused work environment.

• Shape foundational concepts, patterns, and frameworks to enhance scalability and flexibility within Boulevard's ecosystem.

• Enhance the platform to cater to complex workflows and needs of upmarket customers.

• Translate intricate technical challenges into user-friendly experiences.

• Work closely with Engineering to maintain design integrity and lasting platform decisions.

• Elevate team standards through improved critique processes, design documentation, and collaborative practices.

• Collaborate with design leaders to enhance Boulevard's design system for future growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in managing and nurturing product designers, focusing on performance improvement, coaching, recruitment, and team development.

• Proficiency in visual, interaction, and UX design with an emphasis on clarity, usefulness, and innovation.

• Strong grasp of systems thinking and designing for scalability and long-term evolution.

• In-depth knowledge of the product lifecycle from research to delivery.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams on complex projects.

• Comfort in ambiguous environments and facilitating clarity in fast-paced settings.

• Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on guidance as needed.

• Strong opinions with a willingness to embrace feedback and iterate.

• Proficiency in Figma, design systems, and new tools like Pencil / Cursor.

• Effective storytelling skills to convey the strategic rationale behind designs.
