• Take the lead in designing end-to-end journeys for potential students on NU's website and digital platforms.
• Use user insights, data, and business objectives to create elegant, accessible, and conversion-focused design solutions for the prospect lifecycle.
• Play a key role in developing NU's design system to ensure scalability and personalization for prospect audiences.
• Create modular components, templates, and interaction patterns to deliver a seamless prospect experience on a large scale.
• Incorporate accessibility, responsive design, and performance best practices into all design work.
• Collaborate with various teams to bring prospect-focused designs to life through iterative development.
• Support testing and optimization initiatives to enhance prospect engagement and conversion rates.
• Stay updated on digital experience trends to make informed prospect design decisions.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Have six (6) or more years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, with a focus on impactful web experiences for prospects or customers.
• Preferred experience in designing for higher education, edtech, or multi-audience environments.
• Showcase a strong portfolio highlighting user-centered design in complex digital ecosystems.
• Proficient in Figma and adept at working within structured design systems.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data-driven design processes.
• Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and content organization.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to AI or personalization platforms is a plus, or experience designing within such systems.
• Strategic thinker capable of balancing high-level vision with detailed design execution.
