• Take full ownership of the UX and UI design process for Dexter Mobile, from initial concept to final product release.
• Simplify and redesign critical nursing workflows such as documentation, shift planning, and handovers.
• Utilize Figma to create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain a streamlined design system to ensure consistent and efficient development.
• Collaborate closely with founders and engineers on a daily basis to ensure rapid product delivery through short iteration cycles.
• Utilize user feedback and analytics tools like Mixpanel, UXCam, or Smartlook to identify UX issues and enhance the product.
• Conduct user tests to validate design concepts pre and post-release.
• Clearly document design decisions to ensure team understanding of design rationale.
• Optional: Provide support for basic marketing visuals as needed, without detracting from the product focus.
• Optional: Contribute to early-stage web UI/UX and Webflow projects if experienced.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer for digital products.
• Portfolio showcasing 2–3 case studies demonstrating problem-solving, process, and successful outcomes.
• Strong background in designing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Proficient in Figma with skills in components, auto-layout, and basic design systems.
• Solid understanding of UX principles including flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers; familiarity with Flutter/Dart used by our mobile team.
• Comfortable conducting user tests and iterating designs based on feedback.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
