• Take the lead in establishing the foundational UX and discovery process for new products and features, starting from the initial idea or business goal
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to conduct workshops, define scope, and strategize on how the user experience will be shaped
• Develop core UX artifacts, such as defining Jobs to be Done (JTBD), creating user flows, journey maps, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to illustrate the complete user experience
• Compile and document your work into a comprehensive "design blueprint" that clearly lays out the project's strategy, user experience, and specific tasks
• Transition projects to our global product design teams, guiding them through the strategy and requirements for a seamless execution
• Serve as a strategic advisor for the execution teams, ensuring alignment with your foundational UX strategy and addressing any queries or concerns
• Possess 5-8 years of product design experience, with a portfolio emphasizing strategic processes like JTBD, complex user flows, annotated wireframes, and problem definition case studies
• Reside in the United States with a deep understanding of North American user behavior and market expectations
• Demonstrate expertise in wireframing and creating clear, functional, and well-documented UX deliverables
• Have a thorough grasp of UX fundamentals, including information architecture, interaction design, and "Jobs to be Done" methodology
• Experience in packaging and handing off work to other designers or remote teams is a plus
• Strong facilitation skills to lead workshops and align stakeholders towards a common understanding
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities to convey complex experiences through simple diagrams and clear instructions
