Staff Product Designer – Healthcare, Retail UX

📋 Description

• Take the lead in designing and executing a healthcare-focused user experience strategy, ensuring a smooth cross-platform UX for iOS, Android, and Web

• Create intricate user flows for prescription management, telehealth visits, retail purchases, and insurance-related transactions

• Develop an integrated cart model for seamless checkout of pharmacy, healthcare services, and retail items in a single transaction

• Optimize UX for conversions and engagement using data-informed design techniques, user research, and A/B testing

• Establish and maintain a top-tier design system for consistency across different development environments

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement secure and scalable digital healthcare solutions

• Promote accessibility and inclusive design principles while mentoring and coaching design team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital health

• At least 3 years in a principal or lead designer position, driving product innovation

• Expertise in designing complex user flows, particularly in healthcare e-commerce and multi-category shopping

• Profound knowledge of iOS & Android design principles and familiarity with React Native or Flutter development

• Strong portfolio demonstrating scalable and user-friendly healthcare, retail, or e-commerce experiences

• Proficiency in design & prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD

• Excellent communication skills to present design strategies to stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Experience collaborating with Agile development teams and delivering data-driven improvements

• Ability to translate complex healthcare workflows into engaging user experiences

• Bonus points for experience in health tech, telemedicine, pharmacy apps, or wearable integrations

• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant design and data privacy best practices

• Background in AI-driven personalization for health recommendations and wellness tracking

• Experience optimizing shopping carts in regulated industries and skills in motion/interaction design
