• Lead User Research by conducting interviews, workshops, and usability tests with a diverse user base, including clinical researchers, data scientists, and institutional administrators to gain deep insights into their workflows, needs, and pain points.
• Design and visualize complete user journeys, information architectures, and process flows for various tasks such as multi-stage data access requests and iterative cohort building.
• Develop a wide range of design artifacts, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Translate complex governance policies and data privacy rules into clear and simple UI elements, guidance, and user feedback.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system and component library to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across all applications.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with stakeholders to iterate on designs and bring your vision to life.
• Plan and execute usability testing to validate designs and drive continuous improvement.
• Must have a passion for human-centered design and a portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio must include examples of designing complex, data-intensive applications, enterprise dashboards, or workflow-heavy platforms.
• 5-8+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Expertise in the entire design process, from user research to usability testing.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions effectively to various stakeholders.
