• Introduce a fresh design perspective to the Marketing team and the organization through digital ad campaigns, digital asset requirements, presentation design, marketing materials (white papers, guides, etc.), web page design, and more.
• Engage in and/or lead high-level concept development, ideation, and visual storytelling for various audiences and marketing materials that stimulate conversation and enhance brand engagement.
• Oversee the creative process from ideation to execution, incorporating feedback from the Lead Designer, collaborators, and stakeholders to ensure captivating design work across all projects and deliverables.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Business Wire brand with visually appealing designs that showcase curiosity, exploration, and the generation of new ideas, concepts, and styles.
• Utilize audience insights to create designs that resonate with audience motivations and requirements, leveraging data to inform visual concepts and decisions.
• Demonstrate a keen sense of visual balance by creating designs that harmonize aesthetics (look, feel, theme) with storytelling (copy, tone, brand voice).
• Produce engaging videos and images for ad campaigns, websites, and social media channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to align on marketing objectives, creative direction, and brand coherence.
• Minimum of 5 years of design-focused experience in a small corporate marketing or agency setting, with preference for experience in both environments.
• Impressive portfolio of design samples demonstrating dynamic, creative thinking and execution, showcasing the ability to translate visual concepts into practical design deliverables.
• Proficiency in translating complex concepts into easily understandable designs.
• Solid grasp of design fundamentals (color theory, balance, symmetry, etc.), layouts, typography, photography, interactive media, and understanding of branding principles.
• Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other creative tools.
• Dedication to follow-through, accountability, and teamwork, with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with UI/UX Design preferred, along with some knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience in video editing using Final Cut Pro or similar software is advantageous.
• Exposure to HubSpot is a significant advantage.
